Masterson’s Pub , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its doors was disturbing and far below any standard .

The Condition of the Premises : Grimy and Neglected
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floorboards were filthy, and a nauseating aroma of stale beer and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire bar . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , putrefaction and a sickly smell. For a business that caters to patrons, these issues are completely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the quality of anything they serve .

During my time there, I observed how uneasy several female guests seemed around Cornwell. As I dug deeper , I was horrified to find reports against him involving sexual harassment , with multiple women citing incidents of harassing them digitally. Described as uncomfortably pushy and disrespectful , his behavior has created an unsafe environment for women who attend Masterson’s.
